Andy started his career apprenticing in high end automotive panel-making,structural repair and refinishing .. He then diversified into pattern making, hard modelling and became a composite specialist, too. By the mid nineties was making Formula one show cars, jigs tooling and components, in addition to building bodywork work for IRL race cars, endurance race cars and bespoke one off projects .
For the next five years Andy honed his skills working with composite materials in numerous applications but, wanting a larger scale challenge, he branched out into the production and installation of major themed sets and site builds. Learning about architectural structures, project management and detailed budget controls, he soon became responsible for a large structures. Motor sport and composite work continued, alongside, until in 2000 Andy established his own company to facilitate the fullfillment of on -going commissions from Goodwood to build the Wacky Racer cars and other bespoke projects ranging from special bodied golf buggies to Art deco style garages.
